Agapanthus Hum: And the Angel Hoot

My mommy checked this out for me. At first I thought it was not so good, but then I read it and I loved it. I think it is an awesome book because she talked about a loose tooth and I have 4 big teeth now and I used to whistle like her when my teeth were out. I love the pictures because I love wearing piggy tails and I have a dog and it looks exactly like that one. I would think that you would like it. It is a quick easy book if you have time to read it. It is a one night book. At the end the author wrote a note to me (the reader) and it made me feel joyful because I really never get many letters. P.S.- I am 7 years old.

I just checked out this book at the library for my 3-year-old daughter, and both of us LOVE it! I've had to read this to my daughter 3 times already because she can't get enough of it! Cowley uses such wonderfully expressive and appropriate words to describe Agapanthus' movements and noises, which makes this book an excellent one for encouraging phonemic awareness in young listeners and soon-to-be readers! My little girl laughs uncontrollably from start to finish! Of course, it helps to read it with a lot of enthusiasm.
