Perfection...

Wow! This book hooked me from the first page to the very end. I didn't want it to end but needed it to because I needed to know... Even now after having read it a week or so ago, I still finding myself thinking about the characters, both Rachel and Joseph and Tyne and David. I don't know if I believe in reincarnation but the theory really worked here. Every minor character had they place in the main story and help to propel the story to it haunting and tragic end!!! Every event, discussion or scene was placed to add depth and character and story progression for the reader to just sit back and enjoy. People didn't discuss anything that didn't relate to the story. There was a party screen that didn't take up three pages describing crystal glasses or the delicate gold inlay pattern on the ceiling. WHO CARES!? Again unless the ceiling is going to fall in on the party goers.. WHO CARES!? This book reminds me of just how strong love can be. How it can make you do the right thing for the wrong reason and the wrong thing for the right reason. I would love to read her next book. However, can she do it again? Can perfection be the norm for this writer? I would like to find out. Anyone can come up with a good plot but an excellent storyline in the hands of a highly skilled writer can create perfection. This book is in the category of perfection.

Love this Story!

I just finished this book and I have to say that I was breathless during and after reading it. I had a friend tell me just a couple days before reading or even hearing about this book that he thought that we had been married in a former life. Two days later I find and begin to read this wonderful book. Coincidence? Serendipitous? Could be.... I was captivated by this book. This is the first book that I have ever read cover to cover in 24 hrs. I was so caught up in the story and the build up to the climax that I almost ignored my life for a bit! Great Book!

A book that appeals to you in every way!

I thought that the book had everythuing that you would need to make a great story. It has Love,Sex,Money,Drug,Volence, and Murder. It will make you want to leave the light on if you were to read it in the middle of the might but the love that is in the story is an undying love that i think everyone in some way wish that they had. This is a great read. A great buy.

Spellbinding!

Plagued by confusing sensual dreams, Chicago journalist Tyne Jensen desperately needs sleep. Waking night after night upset and unsatisfied is taking its toll. These hazy, erotic visions mix the past and present, but always involve the same mysterious man. When undercurrents of violence permeate her dreams, Tyne becomes truly frightened. Upon meeting architect David Carvelli, she is reminded of someone, but who? David's green eyes and deep voice can't be the ones vexing her dreams, can they? Haunted by strange carnal dreams of his own, David is likewise drawn to Tyne. While she is interesting and beautiful, that doesn't completely explain his immediate and powerful infatuation with her. As with his dream woman, David is driven to possess and protect Tyne, and the pair are quickly embroiled in a torrid affair. The strength of their feelings are almost too much to endure. They seem destined to flame out. As past tragedies are slowly revealed, the two seem to be reliving them. Are Tyne and David doomed to repeat the past? Can a love that refuses to die get a second chance? Mixing contemporary, historical, and paranormal elements, Again is an engrossing read. I enjoyed both the modern and historical tales. The realistic, yet dramatic look at interracial relationships in 1897 New York was powerful. Although it played havoc on Tyne and David's lives, I was glad love finally got a second chance. David and Tyne were strong, well developed characters who fit seamlessly into a contemporary urban setting. Together, they positively sizzle! David's decent was riveting. It was clear where he was going, but I was hoping and praying that he would find a way out. At times I was overwhelmed by all the characters, but they add to the depth of the story. Smart, sexy, and suspenseful, Again deftly weaves several interconnected subplots into one spellbinding erotic tale. Cheryl Reviewed for Joyfully Reviewed

Once in awhile!

Once in awhile you read a book that draws you right into the story from the first sentence to the end. This is such a book. It is a paranormal IR involving reincarnation where the story jumps between the events surrounding two people, Rachel and Joseph in the late 1800s and their reincarnated selves, Tyne Jensen and David Carvelli in the present day. Tyne and David were lovers in this past life but the love affair had a fatally tragic ending. Both are having disturbing dreams about this past life that draws them to each other where they become lovers in the present day. But history is trying to repeat itself as past merges with present and the present love affair maybe just as doomed as the previous one. Ms. Cullars is an excellent writer who brings new depth to the paranormal romance genre with this debut work. The reader has no trouble following the sequencing of events that's happened in the past or the here and now, because the writing is just that good. This story would make a great movie. I will buy her next book but first I've got to read this one again.
