A good set, especially for longtime fans

It's a great set, probably recommend it most to those familiar with Adventures in Odyssey. Still very enjoyable if you don't yet know the characters, but a few episodes are easier to follow if you know what has already happened. Best episodes were "The Pact I and II", "Relatively Annoying" and "The Benefit of The Doubt". Back to Relative Normal

With the Novacom situation now behind them, the residence of Odyssey are eager to get back to their normal lives. Not that normal ever describes anything they do. Connie and Mitch are trying to make up for lost time in their relationship, but what's the cost to others? And Mitch is offered a job that he quite possibly can't refuse. We meet the Washingtons, who are being set up to become the next major family in Odyssey (and I can't wait). We get to experience some of the early days of the Revolutionary War from a slightly different perspective thanks to a newly designed Imagination Station. And Tom's wife is getting all riled up about something, but she can't remember what it is. Meanwhile, Aubrey's friend Seth has moved to Odyssey and we discover that being different can have advantages. While I enjoyed the Novacom storyline, it was nice to get back to a calmer Odyssey. And, frankly, some of the themes of the episodes were a challenge to me. The stories are fun and kids will love listening to them over and over again. With over 500 episodes under their belt, it's nice to see that there seems to be plenty of life left in the show. If they keep coming up with great stuff like this, I'll be enjoying the show for many more years to come.
