Adult and Nurse Practitioner Certification Examination: Review Questions and Strategies [With CDROM]

I received my order of this book yesterday and it was in great shape, but the CD disk was missing. I would really appreciate the disk for this book so I can have a greater benefit from my studying. Thank you.

I agree with some of the other reviews in some areas. However, I feel the benefit to this book is that it has so many questions and it explains why every answer is correct as well the why the other answers to each question are not correct. I didn't use the book expecting exact questions from the test so the "All of the aboves" didn't bother me. I will agree that there were a few questions that I disagreed with the answer presented, but I have found this to be true with all the resources I have looked at up to this point of my career. I also tried some Family Practice Physician books that I was less impressed with and chose not to use for review. As far as the difficulty of the questions presented... I feel they gave a very real depiction of what possible test questions would be like. I feel this is a nice resource and do believe it gave me more confidence and some insight to the test. This and Fitzgeralds were my only review resources and I passed the AANP exam first try.

Used this book and can say that the disk was extremely helpful in terms of practicing for an online exam. If you are limited on time, and can't do a whole lot of review, just doing the disk review is a good place to start. Wish I had purchased this while in school, at the start, rather than waiting. Bottom line, I found this book to be very helpful in preparing for the FNP exam and I passed. So, it worked for me!
