Adjust or Self-Destruct: A Study of the Believer's Two Natures

Craig Massey was the paster of The Bible Church in Des Plaines, Ill, and my pastor throughout my teen years. The book "Adjust or self-destruct" is a summary of what he constantly preached: namely, that humans have two natures: one is the carnal nature we are born with, and the other the new nature we inherit when we are blessed with the Holy Spirit. This book describes the two natures, how we are at war within ourselves, and how we can get off the marry-go-round so to speak of making wrong choices. Pastor Massey explains what one must do to overcome the carnal nature, and how, if we do not arm ourselves with study and prayer, we are at risk to self-destruct. This book was written in 1977, and, unlike many current Christian books, is concise in only 125 pages. His manner of teaching has helped me throughout my life, and the instructions within this small volumne is timeless.
