I recomend this book to parents and teachers alike, this book opens your eyes, it makes you understand why your child acts the way they do.

I always recommend this book to parents who have children with attention problems in order for them to get a complete objective overview of the disorder and the treatments that are available. This book explains in simple language the current medical definition of ADHD and why you need a complete evaluation in order to receive an accurate diagnosis. It contains a thorough discussion of the treatment options available for the parents and child. It encourages parents to become the "case manager" of their child's treatment. It is then possible to make educated choices for your child.
