By Gail Rock, also the author of The House Without a Christmas Tree. Addie and the King of Hearts is the story of first love. This description may be from another edition of this product.
Another delightfully charming "Addie Mills"story, with our darling trying to impress her male teacher, with whom she's enamored. When, oh when, will this be released on video?!?

Addie wasa good book because Addie fell in love with there teacher and all of her friends made fun of her because of the person she like a lot.Her friends would tell her she was nasty for liking the teacher and she would say that they were only eleven years older than she was.I liked the book because was very funny.I rat this book a ten out of ten because of all the things that happened.

I rememberthese books fondly from my elementary school days and have been trying andtrying to remember the book titles so that I can read them again and share them with my own girls!Addie and the King of Hearts by Gail Rock is one in the series of books (I think there are four in all) about Addie Mills, a young girl coming of age in . This book is about her discovering the true meaning of love as the school dance is approaching and she tries to be sophisticated to impress her teacher (7th grade I think). It is a very real and honest and touching book and I highly recommend it.
