Games: An Entertaining Way To Connect With Children
Published by Thriftbooks.com User , 15 years ago
In today's world it seems harder to find ways to get children off of the computerized games to connect with them in a fun and entertaining way. Arthur Bieri has written an action game book chalked full of various ways for children who can follow directions to connect with each other in a Physical Education class setting. I found myself reminiscing about my children's childhood games they loved playing in our backyard. The only draw back to using this book is some of the illustrations to one game are found on the page of another game. It is almost as if the publisher was trying to save on paper and frustrating for this reader. The greatest thing I found in reading this book is many of the games appear to be easy to modify for out of the classroom setting like birthday parties or family reunions for ages 6-50. Reviewer recommends "Action Games" to elementary, middle or junior high schools, parents and grandparents, and youth groups as a fun entertaining way to connect through game playing.
