This is an Amazing Book!

I knew there were heroes and heroines of World War II, and I knew many whose stories were never told. This is one of them: an American citizen who wants to "do her part" but isn't allowed to. So, she goes to England, hoping the Brits will allow her to do what the Americans won't. Please do yourself a favor and read the book! I am so glad I did.

Incredible story about an incredibly brave woman. Everyone should know her name and what she did to help the allies win WW 2. This book inspired me to read other books about this brave woman. You won’t be sorry you took the time to read this book.

The true story of Virginia Hall is amazing and very well told in this book that kept me turning pages into the wee hours of the morning. I highly recommend this book for anyone interested in many genres of books: suspense, history, historical fiction (my personal favorite), women’s literature, WWII history, etc.

Maybe it was my excitement reading her story that I found the book a bit hard to read. Not that the writing was difficult, it was a year ago I read it so my memory is not great, but I remember feeling a bit lost at times. It didn't read building the suspense it was kinda matter of fact. My imagination filled in the details. I think of Virginia a lot though so very glad to have been exposed to her story and greatness of spirit.
