A Week to Be Wicked

Tessa Dare takes the song 'What a difference a day makes.' And asks what a difference a week makes, especially with two of the more unlikely of people. Minerva Highwood is the bane of her mother's existence, and has no problem letting her know it. Minerva's a bluestocking whose specialty is geology and has plans of being a scholar. Her key to this, a plaster of parisse cast of a dinosaur's foot print presented at the geological society in Edinburgh Scotland. But she needs an escort, and she chooses Colin Sandhurst, the biggest rake in London whose stranded in Spindle Cove when Minerva offers him up a deal 500 pounds in exchange for being her escort to Scotland. Along the way they run afoul of highwaymen, locals, and even ordinary people with Colin's theatrics. But as they get closer to their goal, Minerva learns that Colin hides scars from his childhood and he learns that Minerva is good therapy for him and he for her.
