A Voice in the Crowd

FONT SIZE 13 FOR LOW-VISION EYE

This novel A Voice In The Crowd evokes the glitz and glamour of the Old 1940 through 1947 almost old Hollywood of the golden area of Santa Ana, El Salvador while following the rise of the first influential Spanish President known as Armando Borrego. Beginning with Angela Alvarez's tumultuous childhood, the main character captures her charm and determination to succeed despite uncertain circumstances; while Angelas' name has been forgotten by modern audiences, there was a time when she was a household name in both the United States, United Kingdom and later in Spain. Working for Santaneca's local Newspaper, she finds her true passion which later proved to save and unmask her own husband's dangerous schemes. Angela marries the Spanish suitor in the hopes of unveiling his secrets to the public. Escapes his claws to find herself working in disguise for another newspaper. There are three more employees in that Madrile?o Newspaper, but the public doesn't know who is the person who signs under the "A" letter. From the perspective of Angela, she knows if not her who signs A but adopted whoever's mechanism.
