Turly this is a great book on Mothers and their love and it is a great Mother's Day read. Janice Sims' story, "The Keys To My Heart" is a story that really touched my heart. The love is there shining through the pages. Kianna and Gabriel, in-laws that have never met until an accident claimed the lives of their married siblings who shared a beautiful child together. Kianna's family has the child because it was Kianna's sister's child and no other relatives on Gabriel's brother's side had been made known until Gabriel, who has been out of state and gets word, shows up. However, Gabriel's showing up puts a damper on Kianna's plans to raise her niece when Gabriel states that he has been named legal guardian. Throughout the matter, they are in contact with one another and love blooms in the wake of it all and through a very special little girl. This is one story that must be read! Courtni Wrights' "A Mother's Love" is an eye opener for mothers who have children that are growing up and starting college or leaving home. Mothers love your children, but realize that they will not always be the little tiny dependent babes, they too will grow up and want to leave home. Jackie Peterson, a devoted mother, finds this out. She has a husband and a son, both who have other lives beside staying at home. During the Mother's Day holiday, it looks as if Jackie's family may not be spending the holiday with her and she may be in despair. However, the love of a family runs deep and Jackie's husband and son make every effort to let her know that she is the love of their life. Truly a heartwarming story of family love. "Maternal Instincts" by Kayla Perrin also is a good story of motherly love. Lexy is a young mother with a ten year old daughter. Lexy is widowed and feels like she has to dedicate her life to her daughter. However, Lexy soon discovers that she has enough love for her daughter and love to share with someone else special in her life.

A Very Special Love is a heartwarming book. Each story is a great tribute to moms - both natural and surrogate. My hands-down favorite of all the stories is "The Keys To My Heart". As always, Janice Sims had me completely drawn into the story of Gabriel and Kiana, and their niece Courtney. As in her other works, Ms. Sims also pays tribute to strong family bonds - heck I was beginning to feel like a part of the family! The story starts out with the family facing a tragedy that will absolutely rip tears from your eyes. But by the you get to the mind-blowing climax of the story, you will also have experienced many more emotions. Each character is well defined and contributes to the myriad emotions the reader will feel. Kayla Perrin's "Maternal Instincts" is also very nice. This is my first time reading any of Ms. Perrin's work - I'm looking forward to reading more from her.
Two Must Read Novellas!

Ms Sims and Ms Perrin did me proud in their stories for Mother's Day. In Ms Sims "The Keys to My Heart,"Kiana (another lovely name) and Gabriel are very enjoyable. Gabriel was a real character but Kiana knew just what strings to pull on him. And that Courtney was one smart kid. All and All,Ms Sims story was truly something special. Much Love to Ms Sims, from one of your fans! Ms Perrin's "Maternal Instincts," was also very good. Lexy was a very lucky woman to live out a dream that not many women get a chance to live out, and that is to spend the rest of your life with your crush from High School. Under the circumstances that Lexy and Marcel finally came together under, the love story that they share with a little help from a 10 year-old going on thirty, is something truly special! Much love to Ms Perrin! Well I can't say much about Ms Wright's novella because I have not finished it yet! I will sometime soon, but not at the moment. I did start the story, but it was just I'm sad to say boring. Not to down the author, because some of her stuff is good. "A Mother's Love" was just about a mother spending mother's day alone and her remembering the past. So readers don't give up the chance to read two lovely stories just because one of them is not so spectacular novella!
A Very Special Love...EXCELLENT!

Janice Sims - "The Keys To My Heart" was such a beautiful story, interesting plot, very well developed and heartwarming. I loved Gabriel Merrick and how he and Kianna flirted with one another. The author keeps the story flowing that you have no choice but to finish in one evening. This story could have held its own as a single novel. Once again, you are meeting up to the Janice Sims standard.Courtni Wright - "A Mother's Love" was a story I had the most difficulty reading and its only five chapters. I found the presentation of this story did not flow well enough for me, the author had the Jackie Peterson's character, who was alone for Mothers' Day, going back and forth in time throughout the book, only interacting mostly with her sister. Overall I just was unable to find any reaction from this story.Kayla Perrin - "Maternal Instincts" - this was outstanding, a story of a young widow with a ten year old daughter, best girlfriends and one handsome cop who also went to high school with Lexy and her best girlfriends. I liked the way the author developed this story, it flowed very easy, it was enjoyable and very heartfelt by me personally. This story also, could have held its own as a single novel. Thank you Kayla for a job well done!

A Very Special Love was a wonderful book. All three stories were good, but I really liked Ms. Sims story the most. It was so clearly written that you couldn't help but know the families in the story. I loved the way the characters were drawn to each other. Each and every time I sit down to read a book, I always try to imagine myself there. I know the book is excellent when I've finished the book and feel that I have been on a wonderful journey.Get this book and you will be surprised by the passion these ladies have put in it.
