This book is the story of a bonafide death and resurrection before NDEs and modern day technology made coming back to life an almost every day occurence. Taking place in the Oregon of 1924, the book is actually one miracle after another and once you start reading you cannot stop until the last page...and you yearn for more. And the differences between this man's experience and all the modern day NDEs are just that ....Near Death and Dead are 2 different things. A publisher NEEDS to reprint this book!!

I read this book about 8years ago ,it will keep you going till you finish it.I let many people read it and all have enjoyed it.

This is a story of Thomas Welch, who, at the age of 18, in the year 1924, Dies, goes to hell, and comes back to life after being fished out of a log pond, almost an hour after death! After 5 days in the hospital, with a crushed skull, 7 broken ribs, and multiple cuts and bruises on his body, God completely heals him on the fifth day. He begins a life of Evangelism, where before, he had no religious background at all. It is truly a story of a "20th Century Miracle"! A very thought provoking book. The Author simply relates the man's experience, not trying to "Convert" the reader. I personally met Thomas Welch and heard his story in 1979, Portland, OR. He died, (permanently) sometime in 1980
