Summary of Christian History

You know the old saying, "Don't judge a book by it's cover"? Well, I always do and so I picked this book up because I thought it looked cool. :) I could not put this book down! A Summary of Christian History details a brief history of the culture and events surrounding Jesus and early Christianity. It later goes over the many external factors that shape Christianity to what it is today. The big plus to this book would be that it is sort of in a story form so it is very easy to follow and understand. I recommend this book to anybody who would like to know in slight detail of the history of Christianity and the origin of its traditions.

This book makes it easy to see where the various points of view came from and how people love to add to God's word.

I read this book for a seminary class and found the book to be great. It's an easy to read and interesting survey of church history. I still use the book often and certainly would recommend it.
