I read this book last month and I thought that it was just great the character had a sad experience (her father had molested/raped her after her mother left)but she comes out on the top in the end she no longer felt afraid to tell/ask someone for help. She also ended up with her younger brother , even though the mother had taken him away with her, at the end of the story. Her brother finally started to talk again after a period of time. At the end of the story she and her brother visit their old house and learn that the only thing she missed was the silence. They both decided never to go back and visit that house again. I recomend this book
Riveting, but too graphic

This book was quite interesting, giving a bird's eye view of a girl who is molested by her father. While the book was interesting, it was sometimes too graphic.
