A Pup Grows Up

This is a great book for elementary school kids. It has B & W photographs and easy to read text. The book features: The Basset Hound, the Border Collie, the Dalmation, the Springer Spaniel. the Jack Russell Terrier (now Parson Jack Russell), the Great Dane, the German Short-haired Pointer, the Saluki, the English Setter, the German Shepard, the Italian Greyhound, the Long-haired Dauschund, the Chesapeake Bay Retriever, the Toy Poodle, and the lovable Mutt! I think this is a great book if you are thinking of introducing a new dog into your family. The book shows pictures of puppies and adults and gives kids an idea of what the dog was bred to do; hunt, herd, etc. If you like dogs and/or own or love any of these breeds, this is a very nice book to have in your collection. (If I misspelled any breeds, sorry!)
