This is a wonderful book to use with young childreen as a parent or other caring adult begins to teach them about faith and trust. The illustrations are well done and the text is excellent for a pre-literate child or a beginning reader.

While based on finding a lost cat (Fluffy), this book shows children how their relationship to God is special. Further, it demonstrates how He hears their prayers in ways that they may not expect. A truly wonderful book for children of all faiths.

A wonderfully meloncholy book that is a good starter for parents to teach their children about the power of prayer in faith in God. The best part about the book is that it is almost entirely nondenominational.

I've read this book in manuscript form, and have loved it from the begining. It explains, in a way that children can easily understand, why prayer is important in all our lives, and why it seems that sometimes God doesn't answer our prayers. The Roxana Sinex has also placed relatively few words per page, gearing it toward children's lower attention spans. A great book, well worth buying.
