This book was an absolute joy to read. I first stumbled on it when I was 10 (am now 19), and to this day I still enjoy picking it up and settling down to read it. An excellent story about a city girl, moved to the farm under less than desireable circumstances. I highly recommend this story for little girls who long to belong to something special.
