A Love Restored

Kelly Goshorn's debut novel is sure to please if you're a fan of Christian Historic Romance. Her two leading characters, Ruth Ann Sutton and Benjamin Coulter, are very realistic and multi-dimensional. It was easy for me to identify with Ruth Ann's insecurities about her appearance, and I felt a real sadness for her when she thought she had to settle for a respectable marriage proposal from a man she didn't love or remain unmarried forever. I liked Ben despite his flaws, but his flaws allowed for great character growth. A Love Restored is a lovely faith-filled gem.
