Although slow to start I loved this book. It is the first of Angie Ray's books I have read, but it won't be the last. The twist at the end of the story was brilliant. Usually I can tell what is going to happen, but I love it when I am surprised by some twist in the tale, like this one. After finishing I checked on the other book I have by Angie "My lady in time". I was wondering after seeing the name of the hero of that book and where it is based if the two books are in some way connected. Can some one please tell me in what order I should have read them? I think My lady in time was released before A knight to cherish. I'm going to have to read My lady to find out if i'm right.I tried to find out from Angie's website but the url in the book does not seem to be working. I would appreciate it if someone could send me her website address, I want to find out about all her other books. She is a marvelous writer and I for one will keep looking out for her books.
A Fun Read

Even with a spell put upon him so he can't "rise to the occasion" unless with true love, this tough guy hero doesn't believe in such until he meets the endearing heroine and can't help falling in love with her. The part where they spent the night together and the other women asked her about "his affliction" was hysterical. Wonderful characters I had fun reading about.
A Knight to Cherish

This story was easy to believe. It had magic, humor, and a sexy knight with a secret of his own. The lead character, Francine, has a definite personality. She's really cute, although nothing she does seems contrived or created by the author to get a laugh. When she does something funny, it seems so natural to her, that it's really funny. All the characters in the book seem like real people. The story moves at a smoothly flowing pace, and I was so caught up in it, I hated to stop, even for a minute. I was sad when it ended! That's a sure characteristic of a good author. It's been quite a while since I've read such a satisfying time travel. Definitely one to read again, and share with friends.
Great book!

A good story to read, very romantic and funny at the same time... Loved it when Francine taught the knights to change their habits and teaching manners. If I can go back in time, ohhh man I think I would love it, if I had to replay the story with the dashing knight :0)
Entertaining time travel romance

Though twenty-five, Francine Peabody believes she must be the oldest living virgin on the planet. Since she will shortly marry, she feels she needs to understand sex just a little bit. She goes to the library looking for a simple primer. In the same aisle is elderly Mrs. Rapaport, who asks Francine for a favor. She wants Francine to simply civilize humanity in 1214 England. To patronize the senior citizen, Francine agrees to the request. The next moment, Francine finds herself sitting by a lake near a forest. Sir Garrick rescues her, takes her to his castle, and rips her clothing off her. He leaves and yells at the sorcerer Lady Anne for producing another woman he can reject. Though he is forced to allow her to stay for three months, Garrick is even more frustrated as Francine begins to teach cleanliness and politeness to his knights. As he begins to fall in love with her, Garrick knows he must control his passion and need because he must court a wealthy woman for the good of his keep. Francine also falls in love with her barbaric knight, but she has a fiancé waiting for her almost eight centuries in the future. A KNIGHT TO CHERISH is a wonderful time travel romance that takes twentieth century thoughts on cleanliness into war with thirteenth century tenets. The story line is fun and entertaining as a battle of wits ensues. The lead couple are a dynamite duo totally unprepared for love. The support cast augments the plot with a feel for the Medieval period. Angie Ray provides her audience with an enjoyable time travel romance that will be a keeper for sub-genre fans.Harriet Klausner
