I've read all of Frankie McGowan's books and am never disappointed. 'A Kept Woman' was a fantastic read - I immediately warmed to Serena, the main character. The author has a way of making all her characters very real, and Serena is particularly interesting because her life changes so drastically throughout the course of the book, and she surprises us with how admirably she copes with all that comes her way. 'A Kept Woman' is inspiring, thought-provoking and humorous - I thoroughly enjoyed it and can wholeheartedly recommend it to others.
