"A Horse Called Trouble" is a great read for any horselover. The author put a little bit of everything into this book: friendship, rivalry, romance(which I don't particularly care to read about, but it made the book more interesting), mystery, a little suspense, and, of course, Trouble! If you're anything like me, you'll agree, it's definatly worth the money!

Today was something special, a horse show where rival pony clubs complete in dressage, mounted games, mini cross country, and show jumping. Amy would try her best on Merrick, the chestnut pony. This would be her last competition and then she would have to look for a loan horse of competition standard. In the book, "A Horse Called Trouble", Jenny Hughes has the talent that makes you feel like you are right in the action and a part of it. You feel as though your in the competition, trying your best to win. Amy wins a horse show and Darius, a famous horse trainer said she can go to the Caspian Center with him. Her mother agrees Amy can go. When she got there, there were all other riders that have won other shows and Darius must have asked them to go to the Caspian Center too. When they began to ride nobody picked Rory, the bay pony to ride, or as Darius calls him Trouble. Ever since Amy picked Rory they became best of friends. They had many great adventures throughout the story. One of the very exciting things that has happened to her when Darius brought everyone to the beach on there horses. Darius let everyone ride on there horses in the water, that must have been so fun! The author describes and writes the events very interestingly and it makes you feel like you are in the story. It feels like its really happening. I recommend that this book would be great for someone who loves horses and animals. You will have to read this book to find out the problem that Rory and Amy face!
