A Horse Called Holiday

I am a professional horsewoman and i recently found this book hidden in a box. I love this book. It is realistic and a very accurate depiction of the love between a young girl and a challenged horse. My heart really went out to these charactors and readers will fall in love with them. A great book for every horse lover.

This book is a great story, full of obsticles and challenges for the characters- one of which is a truly lovable Thoroughbred with a painful past. Despite the fact that it has a great storyline and a happy ending, this book is not unrealistic. Parts of the book are from the horse's perspective, which is really nice and not at all overdone. The author has a nice style of writing that is easy enough to follow without being at all boring. Overall, a good horsie story that you will enjoy.
