A Hire Love

This was such a cute and feel good story! I love Candice's style of writing and her humor. My only criticism of this book is the ending. Although I loved the way the story ended, it was too abrupt of an ending. I think this book should have had a more detailed conclusion. Don't get me wrong, I loved it, I just didn't want it to end. I would have loved to have had about 2 more scenes to show more development to the ending of the story. I kept checking my book to see if some of the chapters were mistakenly left out at the end. I was thinking man, please don't tell me this book is about to end right now! I loved the characters Rashad and Fatima. I couldn't put the book down because I wanted to know what was going to happen next. You should definitely read this book if you are looking for a really cute romance story. Good job Candice and please keep the stories coming.

I picked this book up in Wal-Mart because I heard an interview this author did and wanted to see what she was working with. Well that night in Wal-Mart I was going to Vegas the next day so I needed something to read on the plane. I was impressed with this story because I gotta tell you after I read the synopsis on the back; I thought the plot was kind of corny. WRONG! Not only was the plot different but it was really good. I found this book to be very interesting read, wondering can this really happen or have it happened? I can see this as a romantic comedy on the big screen. . . For the first time I read a whole book on a plane ride. The story was very well written, and took off and got straight to the point. It ended kind of predictable but other than that it was a very quick read and I look forward to reading more work from Ms. Dow!

Rashad and Fatima don't count on the sparks that fly between them and soon what starts off as make-believe begins to turn into something real. Fatima and Rashad soon learn when it comes to love, there is no such thing as a perfect "script". Candice Dow has done it again with A Hire Love. The characters are well thought out and researched. This is an outstanding novel and mixes in laughter and tears.
