A novel about an experiment with Grizzly Bears in Yellowstone National Park. An experiment gone haywire. Tantalizing, spell bound, and mysterious. This description may be from another edition of this product.
Great read! Really hits the mark. It's the first book to discuss contemporary employees working in Yellowstone National Park. The plot moves along with lots of suspense. I highly recommend it.
A must read for anyone familiar with Edward Abbey

An entertaining read following the lives of several young employees beginning their adult lives with summer jobs in Yellowstone National Park. The story intertwines many factual events in the backdrop of majestic Yellowstone. What you will find are: entertaining accounts of "pranks" that have occurred in the Park over the years (the Park Service won't like this one); would-be backpackers on their first trip out (will bring back memories); and a survival story rivaling the classic short story "To Build a Fire" to name a few. The author Cal Glover is able to draw on his personal knowledge of the events, history, and people living in the area where the book is based and, as his first novel, this may be destined to become a classic with the likes of Edward Abby's novels.
