A First Look at Communication Theory

I ordered "A first look at communication theory" but instead received "ACA Ethical Standards Casebook". This is very frustrating as I needed it for class on Monday so I paid extra for expedited shipping. I will not be using this website ever again. Whatever you do stay away from this website. This is absolutely horrible.

Many of the best communication theories are presented in this book and will be enjoyed by all. Whether you're a modern day philosophy seeker or just wanting advice on how to improve communicate in all aspects of your life.

Book arrived in good time, in great shape. No complaints to the seller. Incredible overview of several communication theories. A must for any beginning student majoring or minoring in communication--or anyone interested in the field!

this book got to me on time, and it's just what i needed for my communications class!

Somebody complained that this text is overpriced. I like a low price as much as the next person, but this text is well worth the cost! My other communications texts literally put me to sleep trying to slog through them. Not so with this one! It is engaging, easy to read, and entertaining. Em Griffin writes about the theories in ways that stick in your head so that you can keep things straight a little better. His writing style is clear and doesn't leave you re-reading sentences to make sure you know what they really said. He also incorporates cartoons and film lists that illustrate theory components. I highly recommend this text.
