The most valuable book I have ever seen in my life of 81 years

This book is perhaps the only book that is needed for RA treatment though I am not sure about the OsteoArthritis aspect. I purchased this book long after I healed myself of RA with similar information from other vintage sources just to see if the process he describes matches the one I used to treat myself. I have a habit of fasting and detoxing whenever I have some ailment and when I was bedridden with intense RA pain I did that. Then I started my diet with a single item, a fresh green salad to see if I get relief from RA pain. Amazingly there was no trace of RA the next day and the days after and I felt completely rejuvenated. A few days later I added rice and vegetable curry to my diet and I was still perfectly okay. I had observed that consuming wheat bread gave me flares and used to avoid it but I was not sure what other things were bad for me. So I tested the bread and next day I had severe flare. They would go away in a couple of days after eliminating it. Further tests found few more culprits, peanuts, almonds, package items like breakfast cereals (corn flakes, oats, others). So I had a long list of contrabands. Interestingly no other people in my family and friend groups had problems with any of these. So this is very similar to what this book recommends except it does not show the slow introduction of foods protocol. It allows organic wheat breads which I did not try but I noticed when I travelled to Taiwan, the local wheat croissants gave me no problem but back home in the USA they were murder. This happened repeatedly. So may be the Taiwanese wheat flour is organic or lacks some additives junk the US flour has. Several other books confirm the connection between diet and RA. I had some osteoarthritis in the knee which sometimes gave me pain walking upstairs. It has stopped progressing since I treated my RA 26 years ago but there is some trace amount left. The drug companies insist there is no cure for RA. This is understandable, they would not get FDA approval if the FDA knows about this diet methods. The Rheumatologists look the other way to avoid loosing their livelihoods and the hapless public is taken to the slaughterhouse of toxic drugs.

Most important part of the rheumatoid arthritis cure

Before the great work of Dr. Alan Ebringer at Kings College, London, this fellow--Dr. Giraud Campbell--found the cure using sound scientific methodology. The answers are now clear, and especially for Ankylosing Spondylitis. Breads and starches must be eliminated for the types of bacterial growth they promote within the digestive system. His diet almost totally eliminates starches although he did not know exactly why it worked--in the late '60s.I have recommended this book to many, and was saddened that it is out of print now, for the information is still urgently needed by sufferers with the honest desire to become EX-sufferers.

You can get well from arthritis

As a practicing Chiropractor for 21 years, I can attest to the efficacy of Dr. Campbell's advice. I have treated dozens of arthritics his way and without exception, pain and inflammation are gone within a week, and the patient is on the road to recovery from there. And, most important, without the use of drugs. How the medical profession can continue to lead patients on, telling them there's nothing they can do for themselves, is nothing short of criminal. I sincerely hope this book will be reprinted.

Another Proven Case, CURED!!!

Here I am, just turned 41 and hobbling to work is getting too damn painful. I've been to the doctors and they have given me steroids to knock out the pain and in the end not even that worked. I have rheumatoid arthritis and It was pretty depressing. This book turned it all around. This is the cure. Perhaps a tough one for some, but it works if you follow what the books instructions. If I had paid $1000 dollars for this book, it still would have been well worth it Thanks to the authors, you gave me my life back!!!

Real world advice, almost immediate results, excellent!

Dr. Campell's book is not for those who want to just take a shot or a pill for their arthritis pain. If you really want to get rid of the arthritis agony (intense pain, swelling, heat), then Dr. Campbell's book can help you. However, be prepared to change your diet dramatically if you're eating the typical over-processed American diet. Get ready for whole, natural, fresh, delicious, un-processed foods - because they're going to make your life so much better - Dr. Campbell explains how in this excellent book! Dr. Campbell illustrates in his book how proper diet can even help 'rebuild' joints that were initially deteriorated from arthritis. Finally, get ready to get rid of all the arthritis drugs and pain killers that are doing more damage to your body every day- and get ready to live the full life again. If it sounds like I'm a fan of this book, you're absolutely right. My two year's of agony with arthritis - and trying everything under the sun to stop the pain - ended within only a few days of my following Dr. Campbell's advice. So, when you're ready to stop the pain- and to start living - buy, read and use Dr. Campbell's book.

Questions remain

This book differs from other arthritis books in offering not only improvement but actual cure. The before and after X-rays show reduction of bony overgrowth and increase of space in the joint - a dramatic result. What is not so clear is the reasoning behind the ban on bread. Is this on account of the chemicals used in crop production and commercial baking or is gluten the enemy? On page 66 we are told that flour is out unless organically grown. (Organic flour and bread is now available.) On page 202 we are warned of the dangers of gluten, which has not been mentioned before. I would like to ask for: 1 Comments from the author 2 Experiences from any followers of the diet 3 Is there any practitioner of this system working in Britain?
