Darkness at Ingraham's Crest

This exciting book should have been considered as another "Roots" project by the movie industry. It is filled with many twists and turns and is easily a top rated historical fictions. The main character seems to take you along with him as he experiences slavery's horrid conditions. Although I had to go to work the next morning, I could not close the book until 2 or 3 o'clock each morning. The setting, plot, characters and purpose of this book are realistic, even though a bit of the supernatural is intertwined in the story's events. You will really enjoy reading this book and will want to see a movie about it. I hope Spike Lee has read this great historical fiction.
