An Okay Book

This novel was a fun, exciting, cozy mystery. It had wonderful relationships and strong characters. I was felt feeling like a missed some character development with this one. I now know that it is because this is the second book in the series. But it stood on its own like a standalone. I will say I had the culprit figured out pretty early in the book but it did not take any of my enjoyment out of it. I really did enjoy this. It wasn’t a new favorite or anything. I would highly recommend this book and author. The writing was beautiful and lyrical.
