A Craftsman's Legacy: Why Working with Our Hands Gives Us Meaning

I was highly surprised when I received this book today that it is ALL text with NO images of tools. Not at all what I imagined upon reading the description and reviews on GoodReads. Disappointed. I will likely/eventually read the text some future day. However, the book was supposed to be a gift to my tool-loving 34-year old son. Nope. He loves to read, but this is not an enticing book to make him read. It could possibly be a stocking-stuffer gift for bathroom reading (like last year, Everything that I Need to Know I Learned in Kindergarten). Visuals are an important part of certain types of books. I have no desire to read this book, based on its lack of visual appeal. :( I rarely write negative reviews - I mean RARELY!
