I am a memeber(over a year) and I'm autistic, so things work a little different for me. I did like the book alot. It answered alot of questions I have about the Church now. At first I just wanted doctrinal information, but now I'm interested in Church oragnization. Leadership, missions, and temples.... This book covers all that and more. The only thing is that I'm glad I didn't run into it sooner because it would have been WAY too much for me. It seems that this may be the type of info most often sought by those not on the spectrum, so I don't forsee many other people feeling that way.
Very helpful

My husband was an adult convert to The L.D.S. Church and found this book invaluable. It explains some of the mundane, but interesting things to things of importance that the L.D.S. culture and way of life has.
An excellent reference

If you are a new member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, this book could be indispensible. It goes above and beyond to explain a lot about the LDS Church's organization at every level. It does not say much about doctrine, so if you are investigating the LDS Church this is not the book for you. At the end of every chapter, the authors answer common questions from converts, which is also very helpful.
