I will not try to dazzle anyone with radiant descriptions of this work; I will instead state my humble opinion as a well-read member of society. This book is ok. I bought it used, for £1, when I was living in England. The descriptions of Dartmoor are very realistic and true, but the story is weak. I saw the end before I was thirty pages into the book. The human characters are also weak. All in all, Black Fox Running is a pretty good book, but lacks an original plot.
