Bishop Carder can say more in one sentence than most can say in an essay. This book is filled with little vingette's that are timeless. Bishop Carder reflects on various issues facing the church and ministry in today's world. While the book is targeted for UMC pastors, its advice and counsel is pertinent for all of us. If you are in the ministry, I would HIGHLY suggest this book be read time and time again.
