500 Italian Miniatures

Authors often set a minimum rating threshold for games to be included in a book, but this is not the case here and the result is many low quality games. The winning side often blunders or plays weak moves. Not all games are between patzers, though, as there are games from Morphy and Capablanca in here. Also know that this book contains no commentary (I personally like it this way), but if you're looking for commentary and explanations, this book doesn't have them. In summary: although some games are low-quality, I am enjoying playing through the miniatures and learning the tactical themes and ideas of the Italian.
