50 Rules Just for Me

When I read this book I was just looking for something to help me get ideas for a comic I was working on. In the end I found another one of many of the books that I've come to love. The story is basically about twins who turn out to be total opposites. The sister is responsible, doing well in school, and takes care of everyone in the house, including her father. Her brother is the total opposite. He sits around the house all day playing with the cat, oesn't really care how he does in school, and basically forces people to take care fo him. When he is forced to do any work he doesn't do much, such as when he has to babysit his little brother. He complains that he wants food and his brother ends up giving him cat food. The story doesn't have much of a plot apart from the fact that is a life we all face. Falling in love, making friends, and trying to keep everything in tune, just basic life. In the story you meet many interesting characters life the twins' older sister who is a comic artist, their younger brother who wants nothing more then be cute, and the twin brother's usually dark, but charming, cute friend who might have a thing for his best friend's sister. Even though it basically has no plot the story is wonderful and something you will enjoy again and again.

A good book

I just finished this book, and I enjoyed just about every page. I'm more one for comedies, but although this one wasn't really funny in any way, it's still a good read. Unlike most manga, this one is actually the kind in which things happen that would happen in real life. All the time you're reading it, you almost feel like you're part of the story. That's how I felt anyways.

Revolts around TEENS as usual.

Manga may be big in Japan, but it seems to be for and all about TEENS, TEENS, TEENS.:P Even though this one takes place in Korea! Read all about those amazing creatures called "teens"! They are all svelte, beautiful, and of course, white. We are all so fascinated by those wealthy white-bread young things who are more doe-eyed than slant-eyed, like true Asians are. And like ALL manga characters, they resemble supermodels and pop idols who live in big, magnificent houses - a dwelling so typical of most manga teens. No wonder Britney Spears and Paris Hilton have totally taken over the world! Oh, and let's also share Japan's great interest in those mysterious, mystic places where TEENS go to, called "high school". Wow! Cool! At least those teen characters featured here don't have any magical or superpowers, though they do come in a "pair", like Luke and Leia. How original. At least one of the girls looks like an overaged adult - the kind we really don't see much in manga anyway - that's exactly what happens to our gorgeous elf-like beings called "teens" once they pass a certain age. They become invisible housewives and salarymen!XP Oh, and you have to be a TEEN to read that kind of stuff, too!

I enjoyed it!

This is a great book. I recomend people to buy it. It is funny! I can't wait til the 2nd one comes out!
