This book is an excellent and approachable book for Marian Consecration. It was the first book I used to consecrate myself to Jesus through Mary!

Fr Michael Gaitley's writing style is easy to read and to follow; the simplicity of his words allows the richness of the concepts he explains to both awaken your heart and slowly sink in over the 33 days and beyond... Making this self-guided retreat for the first time two years ago really did open the door to "morning glory" in my spiritual life....especially in prayer and in learning to TRUST the Lord. I came away with a much better understanding of Mary's role in salvation history and in my own life as a daughter of God and as a Roman Catholic - and I peeked into the lives of a few saints I had hardly known before but have become dear friends on this spiritual journey! Have made the retreat again since then (and am in the process of his Divine Mercy one now); it has become a means for returning to healthy routine when in a prayer life/spiritual rut. My eyes and heart are opened to new things each time, and the Lord has triggered in unpredictable ways such spiritual growth through these retreats! Purchasing copies to give to family and friends because I truly believe that encouraging them to get to know Our Mother will only lead them closer to Her Son at the foot of the Cross.
