20th century advertising at 20th century standards.

This is a very informative, interesting book that includes the best past and present advertising campaigns. From the somewhat 'plain' adverts from the First World War to the more controversial Benetton ads, each company's page includes a brief history of the background to the product and it's ad campaign. Also included are the dates, art directors, copy writers, advertising agencies and country where it was produced to provide a detailed account. The glossy pages contain full colour adverts following through the company's development. The book includes sections on food, drink, fashion, entertainment to name but a few. It is a timeless book that will be kept close to hand at all times.
