Ever wonder...."What options were available for my year Mustang?""What options were included in the Mach 1 package for my 69/70/71/72/73?""What is the REAL difference between a 64 1/2 and a 65???"The answers are contained in this book. I've been restoring Mustangs since I was 19, back in 1989. This book is one of the first that I bought and has been with me ever since. I use it all the time, referencing ID codes, engine combos, options packages and a multitude of other details. This is one of the most comprehensive and accurate volumes that you will ever purchase. Personally, I'm on my third copy. The book details year-to-year body and trim changes, interior and exterior options, powertrain combinations, paint/trim combinations, as well as a complete VIN # and Data Plate decoding matrix. It is written in a factual, yet easy to read manner that is not interjected with any form of opinion, slant or spin. Since you are reading this online, I can assume that you may have been to some of the Mustang discussion forums on the Internet. The amount of incomplete, twisted and just plain wrong information that is tossed around by some of the posters is phenominal. If you have ever questioned the postings of another user, I heavily recommend you get this book. Whether you already own, or are considering the purchase of a 64.5~73 Mustang, this book should be in your library. It can make the difference between a great purchase and a "What the heck did I buy?" purchase.......Seriously, just buy this book..........
A MUST for Mustangers.

The Mustang Restoration Guide is a great resource if you own or are planning to buy a classic Mustang. The authors explain all available options and packages as well as a comprehensive VIN decoder. Our family recently purchased a '67 Mustang and I was amazed at all the info this book had to offer. A real treat.
