Personally, I'm on my third copy.The book details year-to-year body and trim changes, interior and exterior options, powertrain combinations, paint/trim combinations, as well as a complete VIN # and Data Plate decoding matrix. It is written in a factual, yet easy to read manner that is not interjected with any form of opinion, slant or spin. Since you are reading this online, I can assume that you may have been to some of the Mustang discussion forums on the Internet. The amount of incomplete, twisted and just plain wrong information that is tossed around by some of the posters is phenominal. If you have ever questioned the postings of another user, I heavily recommend you get this book. The Mustang Restoration Guide is a great resource if you own or are planning to buy a classic Mustang. The authors explain all available options and packages as well as a comprehensive VIN decoder. Our family recently purchased a '67 Mustang and I was amazed at all the info this book had to offer. A real treat.
