If all you're interested in is preserving fruit, this is a lovely, small (teeny, really) paperback that takes some of the best recipes from Schwartz's bigger book on preserving and condenses them into this nice companion piece. Beautifully photographed, and the recipes are easy to follow and include some interesting twists, things you won't find in the Ball recipe book. :) I gave this to a friend, who loves it and has used it as a basis for our urban canning efforts (http://canyoupreserve.blogspot.com/).
