      As with most of the commentaries in the Tyndale series, this one serves very well for my purpose, which is the preparation of a weekly Bible study class for an audience that is not -- and has no need to be -- deeply involved in the arcane minutiae and frequent wild leaps of logic associated with "serious" textual criticism. The two epistles are well-set in their historical context, both in terms of the issues addressed and...

      This is a top notch intermediate level commentary. For it's size, very in depth, and informative. For those who want to get a deeper understanding of the word, but not drowned with too much greek, and scholarly trivia this is for you.
