• Rebecca—Daphne du Maurier's timeless gothic mystery was the inspiration for Taylor's song "Tolerate It."
• Conversations with Friends—Swift, who also loved Normal People, said that Sally Rooney’s writing style is like "being inside somebody’s mind."
• The Great Gatsby—Tay-Tay's songs are rife with references to Scott's Fitzgerald's classic, like "feeling so Gatsby for that whole year" in "This is Why We Can't Have Nice Things."
