About Michael

I am married with 3 kids (Michael 26, Lizzie 25, and Serafina 9).  I am originally from Central Texas but have lived in the PNW for the last 15 years. I am a bit of a football junky with long time allegiances to my high school (Temple High Wildcats) and the Cowboys. Started my professional journey with McLane Company, Inc where I cut my teeth on distribution services and category management. I moved to Wal-Mart, The A&P Tea Company and then got into e-Commerce.      Worked for Amazon.com, drugstore.com, zulily.com and now very excited to lead the Operational group here at ThriftBooks Global. 

My favorite thing to do outside of spending time with my family is to ride my motorcycle.  On a motorcycle, you really get to see details you miss inside a car.
